Load Brakes
KEB load (parking) brakes are specially designed for hoist and winch applications. The brakes are typically placed on the drum side of a hoist and provide silent operation. Their small footprint allows them to be placed in compact winch designs.
Power-off spring-set (failsafe) brake engagement is ideal for safety critical applications like Hoists and Winches
Noise reduced design features are standard. Less than 65dB measured at 1 meter away
Integrated mounting flange options. Generic flange for bulkhead mounting. Or, SEW and KEB gearmotor patterns
Manual hand release and microswitch options

A manual hand release allows the brake to be opened without electrical power.
If no hand release is required, the brake will be provided with release bolts.

A microswitch is used as a secondary check to verify the brake state.

Hub bores can be specified in metric or imperial units.
• Mounting Flange
Customers can choose the right flange for their installation – generic, KEB or SEW patterns, or shaft mount with torque arm.
